scientific reformationSince the Renaissance, scientists were exploring mathematics, scientific data in politics such as trades. They originally gained their aspect from Muslim and Chinese Scholars.
Monarchs of Europe (Spain, Portugal, France, England, etc.) supported them expecting new powerful technologies. (ex. Columbus) A long-term effect was the decline of faith on Western society, by explaining mysteries scientifically. It lead to Industrial Revolution. |

A new wealthy middle class came up by manufacturing business. To grow economics with them, Monarchs allied with Bourgeoisies, creating "joint-stock companies". 2. Early Enlightenment In 18th century, a philosophical movement rose based on scientific revolutions, challenging religious philosophies. Churches opposed but Monarchs preferred. 3. Witch-Hunts In 16th and 17th century, the pursuits of people suspected of witch-crafts were common. Here, we mean witch-craft by local beliefs, so its purpose was the centralization of faith. |
